The federal government is quickly enacting new forms of federal relief in response to the COVID-19 crisis, with two relief packages signed into law and a third underway. Here is a summary of what's happened so far, including what kinds of relief are available for nonprofit organizations.

Congress is quickly deciding the contents of a massive COVID-19 relief bill. It's time for the choral community across the U.S. to speak up for the artists and arts organizations that have been affected by COVID-19.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has proposed making it much costlier to apply to U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS) for the required visas for international guest artists, including O and P artist visa applications filed by performing arts groups and other nonprofit arts organizations nationwide.

President and CEO Catherine Dehoney was invited the National Collegiate Choral Organization (NCCO) to present remarks on Chorus America's 2019 Chorus Impact Study: Singing For a Lifetime at NCCO's 8th National Conference (NCCO8), November 7-9 in College Park, Maryland.
