SUMMARY:

Performance planning, logistics, scheduling, and coordination to execute the artistic vision

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with AD and other ensemble directors to plan and create performance opportunities
  • Assist with venue research and selection; create production timelines and monitor performance calendar; coordinate logistics with staff, vendors, and contractors; and help ensure performances and projects are well-executed
  • Work with ED to ensure productions are properly staffed, resourced, and within budget
  • Communicate operational details and expectations to parents and students through emails and performance memos
  • Serve as point of contact for all major organization performances throughout the season
  • Uniform ordering, sizing, inventory, uniform checks

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least three years of production experience as a creator, director, stage manager, project manager, etc.; music background preferred
  • Experience working with youth and parents
  • Effective communicator
  • Detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and independent
  • Collaborative, inclusive, and creative problem solver, and desire to be an effective team member

WORK FLOW:

This role will flex depending on the performance schedule and production needs of the organization. Much of the work may be done remotely, with occasional meetings at the office, rehearsal site, or performance venues required.

Compensation and Benefits: 
  • $36,000 - 55,000 annual salary (20+ hours/week; may be full- or part-time, depending on availability of the right candidate)

  • CCW closures, two-week winter break, and additional paid time off
  • Flexible schedule with ability to work from home, some evenings and weekends required
  • Must be local to attend in-person events
