Centering Relationships in Educational Partnerships

We know building strong relationships is a critical part of cross-cultural exchange and authentic involvement of communities, and yet it is often overlooked for driving decisions and communicating with funders. What if prioritizing relationships became the defining principle we use to measure success, make new programmatic decisions, and communicate outcomes and progress to key stakeholders? In this session, three projects funded by Chorus America’s Music Education Partnership Grants program will discuss how they redefine success and operationalize their values around building authentic relationships with the communities they serve.
