Valverde has been heard as soloist in recitals, concerts, and operas in New York, Washington, DC, Minnesota, Michigan, Colorado, Indiana, Delaware, New Mexico, and Texas. Matthew has performed with the Internationale Bachakademie’s Festivalensemble Stuttgart (Helmuth Rilling), Sphinx’s EXIGENCE Vocal Ensemble (Eugene Rogers), and Border CrosSing (Ahmed Anzaldúa).
