Equity, Access, and Belonging for Non-Binary and Gender Non-Conforming Singers

How can choruses and choral leaders be more welcoming towards LGBTQIA+ members? How do we include singers who do not fit the binary of TTBB = male, SSAA = female? This workshop will explore diverse expressions of biological sex or gender, terminology such as LGBTQIA+ and non-binary, and how these reflect on the current choral movement. We will explore steps to open up to a more diverse population, create a culture of belonging, and make everyone feel included.
